Abstract As auxiliary equipment for electric vehicle, on-board charger should have high performance on harmonic, power factor and efficiency. But in high-power application, the traditional PFC technology has many restrictions and defects. Therefore, based on the parallel interleaved technique, we designed a power factor correction system suitable for on-board charger of electric vehicle. Experiment results show that the design can effectively reduce the input current ripple and improve the output voltage ripple frequency and the power factor.
