Most existing research on feeder bus routes planning was focused on one urban rail transit line. The method of feeder bus network design under the rail transit network condition was investigated, and its design flow chart was presented. The selection behavior of the passenger on feeder bus traffic is analyzed. A programming model for the feeder bus network design problem was presented, in order to minimize the total travel cost in the transit network, while accounting for the route choice behaviors of passengers. And a new algorithm had been designed particularly to solve this problem.
