[Objective] In the event of a collapsed non-redundant rigid catenary, it is essential to adjust train operation organization according to different collapse scenarios, minimizing the impact of the incident and reducing property losses as much as possible. [Method] After the catenary collapse accident happens, by using methods such as manually hoisting the faulty catenary with a chain hoist or cutting off the faulty catenary, the train is allowed to pass the fault point in an inert state to improve train operation efficiency. Through the analysis of various catenary collapse fault scenarios, a progressive optimization scheme for train operation is formulated. Furthermore, on-site practical exercises are conducted, and data is collected for comparative analysis. Under the premises of ensuring safety, the optimal method for maximum train operation efficiency is determined. [Result & Conclusion] After temporary emergency repairs, based on the specific fault scenario, on-site technical experts should determine the use of methods such as inert passage, single pantograph height adjustment passage, and inert station-overtaking passage to maintain the line operational state and enhance the train operation efficiency. By optimizing train operation organization, adjusting train operation organization after temporary emergency repairs, and coordinating with the adjustment of line network train operation organization, the time taken to restore train operation after catenary collapse is significantly reduced, minimizing the impact of such incidents on metro normal operation.
