The system (100) may comprise a one or more front wheels (102), one or more rear wheels (104), one or more front powertrains (106), one or more rear powertrains (108), a hydraulic system (110), an engine (112), and a controller (114). The controller (114) configured to determine a Total Rimpull Derate for the machine (200), determine a Final Rear Derate Amount, derate rear wheel rimpull by the Final Rear Derate Amount, and, if the Final Rear Derate Amount is less than the Total Rimpull Derate for the machine (200), derate front wheel rimpull by the Shortfall.
