The invention relates to a sand-proof high-speed railway vehicle which comprises a vehicle body, a bogie, an equipment cabin, a pantograph and a top-mounted air conditioning unit. A skirt board, a bottom board and a framework of the equipment cabin and the vehicle body are hermetically connected, outer surfaces of the vehicle body, the bogie, the equipment cabin and the pantograph are coated with sand-proof coatings, and a plurality of jet devices are mounted on the bogie, connected with an air supply source through an air supply pipeline and used for jetting compressed air to rails in front of a brake system and/or wheels. By analyzing a series of problems of an existing motor train unit running in sandy and desert areas and systematically analyzing reasons for the problems, an optimized improvement scheme is proposed, the overall sand-proof performance of each system of the motor train unit is optimized and improved, and the railway vehicle can meet the requirement of running in high-cold, high-temperature and high-sand environments.
