The invention discloses a self-lubricating treatment process for the surface of an electric scooter brake cable, and relates to the technical field of brake cable treatment. The self-lubricating treatment process specifically comprises the following steps: (1) performing silver plating on mixed powder of boron nitride and cerium oxide, and obtaining silver-doped boron nitride powder; 2) performingmodification treatment on the cellulose nanofibers to obtain a multi-ligand cellulose nanofiber solution; 3) adding silver-doped boron nitride powder into the multi-ligand cellulose nanofiber solution to obtain a dispersion liquid; and 4) pouring the prepared coating liquid into a mold with a metal wire, and curing at high temperature. By forming the compact coating composed of the high-toughnessresin and the self-lubricating film layer on the surface of the brake cable, the brake cable has excellent self-lubricating performance, the friction coefficient of the brake cable can be reduced, the brake cable can be well protected, the overall use performance of the brake cable and a brake is improved, and the overall service life of the brake cable and the brake is prolonged.
