The invention provides a guiding and walking supporting wheel of a hydropower station large-gradient flow channel maintenance platform and a using method. The guiding and walking supporting wheel of the hydropower station large-gradient flow channel maintenance platform is of a central symmetry structure on the whole and comprises a hub, wherein a plurality of spokes are evenly distributed and fixed to the inner side wall of the hub, walking wheel shaft hole assemblies are installed in the centers of the spokes in a supporting mode, and the hub is sleeved with corrosion-resistant rubber; and guide wheel assemblies are installed on a plurality of spaced spokes respectively, and guide wheels of the guide wheel assemblies are in contact fit with the inner side wall of the large-gradient flowchannel. Moving guiding can be conducted by making contact with the side wall of the flow channel, jamming is prevented, and the platform is kept stable.
