The invention discloses a harbor equipment inspection system based on an unmanned aerial vehicle, and relates to the technical field of unmanned aerial vehicle application, and the system comprises an inspection unit which comprises an inspection unmanned aerial vehicle which carries an imaging scanning module and an information transmission module; a central control unit comprising a ground data processing platform which comprises an information receiving module, a data processing module and an instruction transmission module; and a covering unit comprising a plurality of traction unmanned aerial vehicles and tarpaulin. The inspection unmanned aerial vehicle inspects in a stacking field of a port so as to determine the position and the shape of a stack, the data processing platform calculates the cross center of a straw cover of the stack according to the position and the shape of the stack, and the cross center of the straw cover is located at the intersection of the longest space distance and the widest space distance of the stack and is the most appropriate covering point. The covering position of the tarpaulin and the covering angle of the tarpaulin are determined by the cross center of the tarpaulin cover, and the central control unit directs the traction unmanned aerial vehicle to cover the tarpaulin on the stack.
