The invention relates to a patrol pod, a patrol pod control method and computer equipment. The patrol pod comprises an image sensor, a handheld controller, a core controller connected with the handheld controller and a gyro stabilization control device connected with the core controller. When the patrol pod executes a patrol task, gravity center dynamic compensation can be automatically carried out according to the calculated dynamic gravity center compensation amount, so that the overall gravity center of an image sensor can be kept in a pod stability augmentation frame, and the problem of gravity center balance in a pod system turret can be effectively solved; the imaging effect of videos or pictures captured in the operation process of the pod is higher in definition and more stable, and meanwhile damage to a motor coil can be avoided.
