The invention discloses a trunk and branch ship lock joint scheduling simulation method based on a ship lock scheduling and ship navigation coupling model, and the method comprises the following steps: determining model boundary conditions, including ship lock scheduling rules, ship lock operation conditions, and lockage ship channel navigation conditions; establishing a ship lock scheduling optimization model; establishing a ship navigation simulation model; and simulating by using the ship lock scheduling and ship navigation coupling model. Factors such as the ship lock operation state, the congestion condition, the ship navigation speed and the navigation route are comprehensively considered to carry out joint scheduling simulation on the trunk and branch ship locks, and the method has important theoretical value and practical significance for researching the joint scheduling scheme of the trunk and branch multi-step ship locks to improve the overall ship throughput of a navigation channel network.
