The invention discloses a hoisting construction method for a rolling mill upper pressing cylinder of a six-rack cold continuous rolling unit, and belongs to the technical field of six-rack cold continuous rolling units. The construction method comprises the following construction steps: manufacturing an upper pressing cylinder conveying trolley, selecting an upper pressing cylinder hoisting steel wire rope buckle, accurately leveling when the upper pressing cylinder is hoisted in place, setting a hoisting point on a rolling mill housing, sliding the upper pressing cylinder to be right above a mounting position during hoisting, and hoisting the upper pressing cylinder in place. The lifting device has the advantages that the existing construction conditions of a construction site are fully utilized, the upper cross beam for supporting the roll changing trolley track and the housing window is adopted as a support, and the upper pressing cylinder is accurately lifted through the cooperation of the upper pressing cylinder conveying trolley and the chain block; the method is simple, feasible, safe, reliable, short in construction period and low in construction cost.
