The invention relates to a six-wheel robot and system for water supply pipe tunnel detection, the robot comprises a frame, a front axle, a middle axle and a rear axle, the front axle is arranged on the frame, the front axle comprises two independent suspension assemblies symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the frame, the middle axle and the rear axle are arranged on the frame through balance suspension assemblies, and the balance suspension assemblies are arranged on the frame. Wheel sets are arranged on the two sides of the front axle, the two sides of the middle axle and the two sides of the rear axle. A dual-spectrum camera, a three-dimensional laser radar and a sensor are arranged on the frame, the dual-spectrum camera is used for collecting visible light images and infrared light images in the pipe tunnel, and the three-dimensional laser radar is used for conducting all-directional scanning on the pipe tunnel. Six-wheel independent driving is adopted, independent suspension and balance suspension are arranged, the device can be applied to different pipe tunnel environments, and automatic detection of long-distance pipe tunnels is achieved.
