The invention relates to vehicle collision threat assessment, in particular to a computer-implemented method for collision threat assessment of a vehicle, comprising: obtaining (110) contextual information of a vehicle surroundings comprising information about at least one road user; determining (120) self-occupancy information of a plurality of possible future locations of the vehicle at a plurality of future time points based on the contextual information; determining (130) road user occupancy information for a plurality of possible future locations of the at least one road user at the plurality of future time points based on the contextual information; fusing (140) the self-occupancy information and the road user occupancy information to obtain fused occupancy information at each future point in time; and determining (150) a collision threat value based on the fused occupancy information. The invention also relates to a corresponding computer system, a vehicle and a computer program.
