The invention discloses a surface grafted poly-conjugated diene modified silicon dioxide composite material and a preparation method thereof. The surface-grafted poly-conjugated diene modified silicon dioxide composite material is obtained by vulcanizing silicon dioxide of which the surface is grafted with poly-conjugated diene. The preparation method of the silicon dioxide with the poly (conjugated diene) grafted on the surface comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing an initiator, a ligand, a metal catalyst, a conjugated diene monomer and a solvent, optionally adding a reducing agent, and carrying out atom transfer radical polymerization. The surface grafted poly conjugated diene modified silicon dioxide composite material is a nano composite material with low heat generation, low rolling resistance and excellent low-temperature performance.
