The invention relates to an energy management method and device for a hybrid off-road vehicle, and belongs to the technical field of vehicle energy management strategies, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining historical vehicle speed and road gradient data, and predicting future vehicle speed and road gradient data based on the historical vehicle speed and road gradient data; based on future vehicle speed and road gradient data, determining vehicle demand power and a maneuvering coefficient used for representing the influence of the cross-country degree on the power; determining a target function taking the actual output power of the APU as an independent variable based on the maneuvering coefficient and the vehicle demand power, wherein the target function comprises a dynamic target function; and solving the objective function to obtain the actual output power of the APU. The relation between the actual output power of the APU and the required power of the APU is adjusted through the maneuvering coefficient, and the maneuvering performance of the vehicle is effectively improved.
