The winding is a porous winding (filter 10) formed by winding at least one continuous metal wire 20 in a spiral and multi-layer manner. During winding, a terminal portion 30 (metal wire portion 20n) of the metal wire is resistance spot-welded to another portion (metal wire portion 20m) of the metal wire, and fusion cutting is performed at the welded portion. The tip section (30) (metal wire portion (20n)) has a melted and solidified section (31n) in which the entire metal wire in the width direction is melted and then solidified.
