The invention relates to an electric vehicle charging station planning method based on load and traffic flow distribution, and the method considers the superposition influence of topographic data, historical load data and historical traffic flow data in planning, and carries out the prediction of the fixed load distribution of a charging station and the charging load of an electric vehicle through the historical load data. In combination with the analysis of a prediction result and topographic data, a power distribution network grid map is optimized by adopting a power distribution optimization model, and then grid region load division is performed, so that the influence of the topographic data and historical load data on the grid planning layout of the charging station can be described more accurately; meanwhile, a grid area traffic heat distribution condition is analyzed by combining a power distribution network grid optimization map and historical traffic flow data, and finally, the superposition influence of grid area load division and grid area traffic heat division results is comprehensively considered to determine a capacity planning scheme of the electric vehicle charging pile. Therefore, the accuracy and rationality of electric vehicle charging station planning can be better ensured.
