The invention discloses an iodine working medium flow control device for electric propulsion. The iodine working medium flow control device comprises an iodine storage tank and an iodine sublimation tank which are independently arranged, an outlet of the iodine storage tank is sequentially connected with a first self-locking valve, an iodine sublimation tank, a second self-locking valve and a throttler; the iodine storage tank and the iodine sublimation tank are respectively provided with a first heater and a second heater for temperature control; a solid iodine working medium stored in the iodine storage tank enters the iodine sublimation tank to be sublimated and then is stably output outwards through the flow controller. According to the iodine working medium electric propulsion system, the storage process and the sublimation process of the iodine working medium are innovatively separated, accurate control over the temperature of the iodine storage tank is not needed, the iodine working medium electric propulsion system can be applied to a large satellite propulsion system, the efficiency of the electric propulsion system is improved, and the cost is greatly reduced.

    本发明公开了一种电推进用碘工质流量控制装置,包括独立设置的碘贮藏罐和碘升华罐;碘贮藏罐的出口依次连接第一自锁阀、碘升华罐、第二自锁阀、节流器;碘贮藏罐、碘升华罐上分别设置有第一加热器、第二加热器进行温度控制;碘贮藏罐中存储的固态碘工质,进入碘升华罐中升华后,通过节流器向外稳定输出。本发明创新性地提出将碘工质的存储和升华过程分开,不需要对碘贮藏罐的温度精确控制,使碘工质电推进系统可以应用于大卫星推进系统,提高电推进系统的效率、大幅降低成本。
