The invention discloses a vehicle brake redundancy method and system, a vehicle and a readable medium, and belongs to the technical field of automatic driving. The vehicle braking redundancy method comprises the steps that in response to a valet parking instruction of a target vehicle, a state signal of the target vehicle is monitored; wherein the state signal is used for indicating the state of the autonomous parking system of the target vehicle; acquiring the state of the autonomous parking system based on the state signal; based on the state of the autonomous parking system, whether the target vehicle has a braking redundancy requirement or not is judged; if yes, a preset braking redundancy strategy is executed on the basis of the braking redundancy requirement, so that braking redundancy of the target vehicle is achieved. Brake redundancy can be achieved in the valet parking process, and meanwhile the problems of high cost, heavy weight, complex assembly and the like caused by using an RBU are solved.
