The invention relates to a vehicle control method and device, a vehicle, equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of vehicles. The method is applied to the vehicle, the vehicle comprises a main controller and a redundant controller, the main controller and the redundant controller are both used for controlling a power system of the vehicle, and the method comprises the steps that under the condition that the vehicle is in a starting state, the state of the main controller is obtained; under the condition that the main controller is in the fault state, whether the main controller needs to be switched into a redundant controller or not is determined according to the working state of the vehicle; and under the condition that the main controller is determined to be switched to the redundant controller, the power system is controlled through the redundant controller based on the driving operation of the driver of the vehicle. Therefore, the stability and the safety of the vehicle control system can be improved.
