The invention discloses a detrapping system and method for a deep-sea mining vehicle. The detrapping system for the deep-sea mining vehicle comprises a vehicle body, a walking crawler belt, a compressor, a propelling device and a first driving motor. The walking tracks are arranged on the two sides of the vehicle body and used for driving the vehicle body to move. A sealed accommodating cavity is formed in the hollow walking track; the compressor is arranged in the vehicle body; the compressor is connected with the walking crawler belt and used for pumping gas into or discharging gas out of the sealed containing cavity. The propelling device is universally connected with the walking crawler belt; and the first driving motor is arranged in the vehicle body, and the first driving motor is used for driving the propelling device to rotate universally. According to the deep-sea mining vehicle, the propelling device is driven by the first driving motor to rotate universally, and gas is pumped into or discharged out of the walking crawler belt through the compressor, so that the driving state of the deep-sea mining vehicle is accurately controlled, the problem that the deep-sea mining vehicle is difficult to escape when encountering a dilemma is solved, and the operation flexibility and safety of the deep-sea mining vehicle are improved.
