A device for estimating the travel path of a vehicle is mounted on a vehicle, and is provided with: an object detection means that detects objects in front of said vehicle; a stationary object detection means that determines whether a detected object is stationary; a means for calculating an approximation straight line indicating the locus of said stationary object from the time series position data for the stationary object projected on two-dimensional coordinates using the vehicle position as the starting point; a means for calculating a direct straight line that passes through the midpoint in the time series position data for the stationary object and goes directly to the approximation line on the two-dimensional coordinates; a means for calculating the vehicle turning radius from the point of intersection between the X-axis and the direct straight line.
