To solve a problem that when a hybrid system circulation water passage and engine circulation water passage are connected, there is a possibility that a temperature of a hybrid system cannot be maintained appropriately and thus provide a cooling device for controlling circulation of cooling water and an operation of a connecting device.SOLUTION: A cooling device for a vehicle drive system includes: a first water passage 20 for circulating cooling water for cooling an internal combustion engine 110; a first radiator 13 disposed in the first water passage; a second water passage 50 for circulating cooling water for cooling hybrid system components 180, 120; a second radiator 43 disposed in the second water passage; and a connecting device 300 including connecting water passages 301, 302 for connecting the first water passage to the second water passage. When no request for cooling the internal combustion engine is made and connection control for connecting the first water passage to the second water passage is performed, if cooling water caused to flow in from the first water passage has a capacity for cooling hybrid system components, the connection control is performed and the cooling water for cooling the hybrid system components are cooled by the first radiator and the second radiator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ハイブリッドシステム循環水路と機関循環水路を連結しているとハイブリッドシステムの温度を適正に維持できない可能性があったため、冷却水の循環と連結装置の作動を制御する冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】内燃機関110を冷却する冷却水を循環させる第1水路20、第1水路に配設された第1ラジエータ13、ハイブリッドシステム構成要素180、120を冷却する冷却水を循環させる第2水路50、第2水路に配設された第2ラジエータ43、及び、第1水路を第2水路に連結する連結水路301、302を含む連結装置300を備える。内燃機関を冷却する要求が発生しておらず且つ第1水路を第2水路に連結する連結制御を行ったときに第1水路から流入する冷却水がハイブリッドシステム構成要素を冷却する能力を有する場合、連結制御を行うと共にハイブリッドシステム構成要素を冷却する冷却水を第1ラジエータ及び第2ラジエータによって冷却する。【選択図】図2
