To provide an automated guided vehicle system which does not require laying of a guide line, and further is capable of guiding an automated guided vehicle by corresponding to a state of road surface.SOLUTION: An automated guided vehicle system S includes: a hovering unmanned flight body 1 provided with a self-position detector for detecting a position of its own device 1, a flight controller for controlling the flight of its own device 1, and a projector for alternately performing, at a prescribed frequency, projection of a state in which a road surface is irradiated with a guide image G intended for an automated guided vehicle 30 traveling along a guide route, and non-projection of a state in which the road surface is not irradiated with the guide image G; the automated guided vehicle 30 provided with a guide route detector 36 for detecting the guide route, and a steering controller 35 for controlling the steering on the basis of the detected guide route; a travel route storage part for storing a predetermined travel route of the automated guided vehicle 30; and a guide route extraction part for extracting a section of a travel route corresponding to a position of the unmanned flight body 1 detected by the self-position detector, as the guide route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
