To provide a mechanism for converting rotation into linear motion, which is made compactly and can obtain a large speed reduction ratio.SOLUTION: A mechanism 6 for a converting rotation into linear motion is configured such that internal teeth 160 are provided on the inner peripheral surface of a nut member 145, external teeth 161 meshing with the internal teeth 160 are provided on the outer peripheral surface of a planetary shaft member 146, an annular support member 164 having an outer peripheral surface with a tooth part 165 meshing with the external teeth 161 is provided, and the annular support member 164 is fixed to a housing 3. Consequently, a large speed reduction ratio can be obtained, and further the mechanism 6 for converting rotation into linear motion can be made compactly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】コンパクトに構成しつつ、大きな減速比を得ることができる回転直動変換機構を提供する。【解決手段】回転直動変換機構6は、ナット部材145の内周面に、内歯160が設けられ、プラネタリシャフト部材146の外周面に、内歯160に噛み合う外歯161が設けられ、該外歯161に噛み合う歯部165を外周面に有する環状支持部材164が備えられ、該環状支持部材164はハウジング3に固定される。これにより、大きな減速比を得ることができ、しかも、当該回転直動変換機構6をコンパクトに構成することができる。【選択図】図3
