To provide a power source device for an electric motor vehicle capable of minimizing a switching frequency of a resonance inverter and suppressing noise generated by a transformer.SOLUTION: A power source device for an electric motor vehicle includes a high frequency transformer, a step-up chopper, an inverter, and a control circuit. The step-up chopper steps up DC voltage supplied from a DC power source. The inverter supplies AC current to the high frequency transformer using the DC voltage supplied from the step-up chopper. The control circuit synchronizes the step-up chopper with the inverter and causes the step-up chopper to switch at a switching frequency having even-number times of the switching frequency of the inverter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 共振インバータのスイッチング周波数を最低限に抑え、且つ変圧器により生じる騒音を抑制することができる電気車用電源装置を提供する。【解決手段】 実施形態に係る電気車用電源装置は、高周波変圧器と、昇圧チョッパと、インバータと、制御回路とを具備する。昇圧チョッパは、直流電源から供給される直流電圧を昇圧する。インバータは、前記昇圧チョッパから供給される直流電圧を用いて、前記高周波変圧器に交流電流を供給する。制御回路は、前記昇圧チョッパと前記インバータとを同期させ、且つ前記昇圧チョッパを、前記インバータのスイッチング周波数の偶数倍のスイッチング周波数でスイッチングさせる。【選択図】 図1
