To provide a snow accretion body capable of appropriately predicting a snow accretion shape on a snow accretion body and appropriately suppressing snow accretion based on the predicted snow accretion shape.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for predicting a snow accretion shape for a snow accretion body. This method includes the steps of: calculating a reference angle at the end part corresponding to speed of air flow based on the reference speed of the air flow in a tangential direction of snow accretion at the end part of the snow accretion surface of the snow accretion body, which is determined on the basis of snow quality; setting an angle between the tangential direction of snow accretion at the end part and the direction orthogonal to the air flow; and predicting a cross-sectional shape of the snow accretion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
