To provide a metallic member joint structure which combines the metallurgical joint by electromagnetic pulse joint of a pipe member and an end member with a mechanical joint and has high bond strength.SOLUTION: A metallic member joint structure comprises an electromagnetic pulse joint of the inner peripheral part of a pipe member 2 comprising a metallic material, and the outer peripheral part of an end member 3 comprising the metallic material different in type from the pipe member 2 and provided at the end inner periphery of the pipe member 2. A diameter expansion part 10 is provided to the end of the pipe member 2, and a protrusion 7 extending in a circumferential direction is provided to the axial intermediate part of the outer peripheral part in the end member 3. Besides, a large diameter part 8 is provided to the portion located at the end side of the pipe member 2 from the protrusion 7 of the end member 3. Further, a small diameter part 9 smaller in diameter than the large diameter part 8 is installed to the portion located at the opposite end side of the pipe member 2 from the protrusion 7 of the end member 3. The joint structure has a first joint part 17 in which the diameter expansion part 10 of the pipe member 2 and the large diameter part 8 of the end member 3 are joined, and a second joint part 18 in which the diameter expansion part 10 of the pipe member 2 and the protrusion 7 of the end member 3 are joined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】パイプ部材と端部部材との電磁パルス接合による冶金的接合と機械的接合とを組み合わせた接合強度の大きい金属部材の接合構造を提供する。【解決手段】金属材料からなるパイプ部材2の内周部と、パイプ部材2と異種の金属材料からなり、パイプ部材2の端部内周に設けられた端部部材3の外周部とを電磁パルス接合した金属部材の接合構造である。パイプ部材2の端部に拡径部10が設けられている。端部部材3の外周部の軸方向中間部に周方向に延びる突起7が設けられている。端部部材3の突起7よりパイプ部材2の端部側に位置する部分に大径部8が設けられている。端部部材3の突起7よりパイプ部材2の反端部側に位置する部分に大径部8より小径の小径部9が設けられている。パイプ部材2の拡径部10と端部部材3の大径部8が接合された第1接合部17と、パイプ部材2の拡径部10と端部部材3の突起7が接合された第2接合部18とを有する。【選択図】図3
