To prevent the accuracy of internal combustion engine control from being degraded due to a halfway blockage of the piping that guides the exhaust toward the back pressure sensor.SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle, at least a part 131 of a pipe 13 which is connected to an exhaust passage 1 through which the exhaust gas discharged from the cylinder flows and guides a part of the exhaust gas to the back pressure sensor 14 is arranged, when viewed along the front-rear direction of the vehicle, at a position overlapping with an opening 21 through which the running wind blown into the engine room of the vehicle passes. As a result, the running wind is positively blown to the part 131 of the pipe 13, and the pipe 13 is surely frozen in an extremely low temperature environment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】背圧センサに向けて排気を導く配管が中途半端に詰まることによる内燃機関の制御の精確性の低下を防ぐ。【解決手段】車両に搭載される内燃機関において、気筒から排出される排気が流通する排気通路1に接続し排気の一部を背圧センサ14へと導く配管13の少なくとも一部分131を、車両の前後方向に沿って見たときに当該車両のエンジンルームに吹き込む走行風が通過する開口部21と重なり合う位置に配置した。これにより、配管13の一部分131に積極的に走行風を吹き当て、極低温の環境下で配管13を確実に凍結させる。【選択図】図1
