To provide a passenger conveyor diagnostic system and a footstep diagnostic method capable of identifying an abnormal footstep from an abnormality generation direction using a travel sound (operation sound) during actual operation with a simple structure without waiting for the time of maintenance and inspection.SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor diagnostic system for diagnosing an abnormal sound generated during traveling at a footstep portion formed by endlessly connecting a plurality of footsteps comprises a sound collection unit, a calculation unit, and an abnormal sound analysis unit. The sound collection unit is installed in a middle part in a height direction of a going passage side footstep and a returning side footstep in a truss of the passenger conveyor, and has two or more microphones at positions adjacent to each other. The calculation unit calculates a generation direction of the abnormal sound from an arrival time difference or a sound volume difference between the adjacent microphones on the basis of the travel sound collected by the sound collection unit during traveling of the passenger conveyor. The abnormal sound analysis unit identifies a footstep where the abnormal sound is generated on the basis of the calculated generation direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】保守点検時を待つことなく、簡素な構成で実稼働中の走行音(動作音)を用いて異音発生方向から異常のある踏段を特定することができる乗客コンベア診断装置および踏段診断方法を提供する。【解決手段】複数の踏段を無端状に連結して成る踏段を走行する際に発生する異音を診断する乗客コンベアを診断する装置であって、集音部と、算出部と、異音解析部とを備える。集音部は、前記乗客コンベアのトラス内の往路側踏段と帰路側踏段の高さ方向の中間部に設置され、隣接する位置に2つ以上のマイクを有する。算出部は、前記乗客コンベアの走行時に前記集音部によって集音された走行音に基づき、前記隣接するマイク間の到達時間差または音量差から異音の発生方角を算出する。異音解析部は、算出された発生方角に基づき、異音を発生している踏段を特定する。【選択図】図3
