The present invention relates to a control apparatus and a control method for controlling a vehicle by detecting a road surface of a heel by using an intelligent tire system and an acceleration sensor. In particular, the present invention relates to an electronic stability program (ESP) control method through an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle when the vehicle is traveling. A yaw-rate of the vehicle rarely changes, but lateral acceleration is generated such that the ESP malfunctions. Thus, a roll over, in other words, a situation in which the vehicle is flipped over due to the malfunctioning ESP, is prevented from occurring.
본 발명은 인텔리전트 타이어 시스템 및 가속도센서를 활용하여 횡경사 노면을 검출하여 차량을 제어하는 제어방법 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 차량의 요우 레이트(Yaw-rate)가 거의 변화하지 않으나, 측 방향(lateral direction)의 가속도가 발생함으로 인해 ESP(Electronic Stability Program)가 오작동하며, 이로 인해 차량이 뒤집어지는 상황 즉, 롤 오버(Roll Over)가 발생되는 상황을 방지하기 위한 차량의 전자제어유닛(ECU)을 통한 차량 주행 시 ESP(Electronic Stability Program) 제어 방법에 관한 것이다.
