The present invention relates to technology for accurately recognizing a position of a speed obstacle formed on a road surface to enable a vehicle to stably drive. Disclosed are a system and a method for detecting a road surface, wherein the system comprises: a signal detection unit detecting a vertical position signal of a front vehicle by using a front detection sensor mounted in the vehicle; a distance calculation unit calculating a longitudinal distance between the vehicle and the front vehicle and a moving distance of the vehicle when the vertical position signal is at least a set value; and an obstacle detection unit detecting the speed obstacle positioned on the road surface based on a difference value between the moving distance of the vehicle and the longitudinal distance between the vehicle and the front vehicle.

    본 발명은 노면에 형성된 과속방지 장애물의 위치를 정확하게 인식하여 차량을 안정적으로 주행하도록 제어하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에서는, 자차에 탑재된 전방감지센서를 이용하여 전방 차량의 수직 위치신호를 검출하는 신호검출부; 상기 수직 위치신호가 설정값 이상이 되는 경우, 자차와 전방 차량 간의 종방향 거리와, 자차의 이동거리를 산출하는 거리산출부; 및 상기 자차의 이동거리와 차량 간 종방향 거리의 차이값을 기반으로 노면에 위치한 과속방지 장애물을 검출하는 장애물검출부;를 포함하여 구성되는 노면 검출시스템 및 방법이 소개된다.
