Disclosed is a master cylinder with improved reliability on operation and improved performance. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the master cylinder includes: a hydraulic block including a main bore formed therein in an axial direction; a first piston having one side, which is installed to be displaced by being inserted into the main bore, and the other side connected to a brake pedal by being exposed to the outside of the hydraulic block; a sub bore formed therein in the axial direction so that the first piston is displaced by being inserted into and penetrate the sub bore; a mounting block including a connection port connecting the sub bore and a reservoir; a cap installed in the one side of the first piston; and a gap flow path formed by intervals between the first piston and the cap to connect the connection port and a first fluid pressure chamber divided by the first piston on the main bore.

    마스터 실린더가 개시된다. 본 실시 예에 의한 마스터 실린더는 내부에 축 방향을 따라 형성되는 메인보어를 구비하는 유압블록, 일측이 메인보어에 삽입되어 변위 가능하게 마련되되, 타측이 유압블록의 외부로 노출되어 브레이크 페달과 연결되는 제1 피스톤, 내부에 축 방향을 따라 형성되어 제1 피스톤이 삽입 및 관통되어 변위 가능하게 마련되는 서브보어와, 서브보어와 리저버를 연결하는 연결포트를 구비하는 마운팅블록, 제1 피스톤의 일측부에 마련되는 캡, 메인보어 상에서 제1 피스톤에 의해 구획되는 제1 액압챔버와 연결포트를 연통하도록 제1 피스톤과 캡의 간격에 의해 형성되는 간극유로를 포함하여 제공될 수 있다.
