With the continuous expansion of the application scale of transmission line UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) inspection, the existing UAV has its own limiting factors such as short endurance time, positioning accuracy to be improved, and great influence on personnel operation, which affect the application effect of UAV in transmission line operation and maintenance. At present, there are some applications of fixed or mobile UAV hangars. However, limited by size and cost, it has not yet achieved large-scale application. In order to make full use of existing power inspection vehicles, this paper presents a design method of mobile UAV hangar for transmission line inspection applications. The integration of UAV hangar and pickup truck is realized through structure design. At the same time, a UAV landing method based on brightness recognition is proposed and integrated with hangar platform. Through the landing test, the UAV can land in about 1 minute, the landing accuracy meets the size requirements of the take-off and landing platform, and the UAV can be recovered through the centering mechanism. This method lays a strong foundation for the practical application of UAV hangar in line inspection.
