Automotive industry is pursuing to take over Dynamic Driving Tasks (DDT) from driver by implementing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to vehicles. These assistance systems need to behave safely while acting DDT instead of driver. Therefore, the hazardous scenarios which ADAS encounters are required to be identified to take actions. In fact, this paper proposes a theoretical approach to detect the Safety of the Intended Functionality (SOTIF) relevant hazardous scenarios which can cause vehicle level hazards by implementing Systems Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA) and combining the requirements of ISO 26262 and ISO 21448. For this purpose, one of the ADAS which is Advanced Lane Keeping Assistance system (ALKS) is considered.
