This paper describes the results of powertrain testing, which characterized the subsystems, evaluated performance, and determines component efficiencies. Test results were obtained using an integrated motor and transaxle installed on a dynamometer with computer controlled data acquisition. The effects of parametric variations in battery voltage and transaxle oil temperature were evaluated and test results compared against program objectives. (ERA citation 12:000705)
