The project consists of relocating one portion and up-grading the remaining parts of an existing road on the Richardson Highway to Dayville, approximately 6.5 miles. Scars will result from cutting into hillsides and cliffs. An adverse effect on the wildlife will be an encroachment on their habitat. Only vegetation within the construction limits and material sources would be destroyed. There will be some increase in accidents and traffic.
