This paper utilizes the ArcGIS platform to establish a multi-modal public transport evaluation system for Lanzhou, utilizing entropy weight-uncertainty measurement theory to assess the multi-modal public transport synergy within Lanzhou and its various urban areas. Our findings indicate that the evaluation level of multi-modal public transport synergy in Lanzhou is inadequate, revealing significant potential for improving the internal coordination of the conventional bus network. Among the urban areas assessed, Xigu District received a particularly low evaluation rating, highlighting the need to adjust and optimize relevant line and station layouts. The results underscore the importance of constructing a comprehensive multi-modal public transport synergy evaluation system based on the ArcGIS platform and associated basic data, with the evaluation findings serving as a valuable reference for promoting the synergistic development of conventional bus services and rail transit, ultimately facilitating a more convenient urban multi-modal public transport system.
