PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a control device to decide a state of an operator if an imaging range of a monitoring camera is obstructed by a bearing member of a steering wheel.SOLUTION: In the operation mode changeover control device of which the monitoring camera is employed in a vehicle which is installed on a reverse side of the steering wheel as viewed from the operator and which switches and controls an operation mode of the vehicle, it equips a control unit which determines concentration of the operator on the basis of a monitoring video shot by the monitoring camera. The control unit determines whether or not the imaging range of the monitoring camera is in a shield state shielded by the bearing member of the steering wheel on the basis of a steering angle detected by the steering sensor which detects the steering angle of the steering wheel and determines the concentration determined just before becoming the shield state as the concentration in the shield state if determined as the shield state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ステアリングホイールの支持部材により監視カメラの撮影範囲が遮られる場合でも、運転者の状態を判定できるようにする。【解決手段】監視カメラが運転者から見てステアリングホイールの裏側に設置されている車両で用いられる、車両の運転モードを切替制御する運転モード切替制御装置にあって、監視カメラにより撮影される監視映像に基づき、運転者の集中度を判定する制御部を具備する。制御部は、ステアリングホイールの操舵角を検出するステアリングセンサにより検出される操舵角に基づき、監視カメラの撮影範囲がステアリングホイールの支持部材により遮蔽されている遮蔽状態か否かを判定し、遮蔽状態であると判定した場合、遮蔽状態となる直前に判定された集中度を、遮蔽状態における集中度とする。【選択図】図2
