Between the rails and feeder buses, effective connections can improve the efficiency of public transportation system operations and reduce passenger travel and transfer time. Thus, operation coordination is an important aspect of the coordinated development of the rail and bus transit systems. This paper establishes the multi-objective programming model, to minimize the operation costs of the enterprises and the total passenger transfer time, by optimizing the departure interval, to achieve the operation coordination to reduce operating costs, and reduce the passenger travel time. A genetic algorithm is adopted to optimize the model solution. The calculation results show that the total transfer time of passengers can be reduced by 26.27%.
