To detect an accurate location of failure generation when such a failure as an earth fault or a short circuit is generating in a direct-curent electric railway.SOLUTION: A sending voltage of a transformer station and one of the feeding current and the rail potential of a wiring are acquired. Subsequently, the distance between the transformer station to the failure point is derived using the measured value of one of the feeding current and the rail potential obtained at two or more different measurement times by a calculation formula of estimating the change with time of a failure current at the time of failure generation. After that, processing of giving a notice of the distance to the derived failure point is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】直流電気鉄道において、地絡や短絡等の故障発生時に、高精度に故障発生位置を検出する。【解決手段】変電所の送出電圧と、架線のき電電流またはレール電位を取得する。そして、故障発生時における故障電流の時間変動を推定する計算式に基づき、少なくとも2つの異なる測定時刻において得られた、き電電流またはレール電位の測定値を用いて、変電所から故障点までの距離を導出する。そして、導出した故障点までの距離を通知する処理を行う。【選択図】図1
