To provide a vehicular steering device which has a function of changing a control between an SBW mode control and an EPS mode control, can maintain appropriate steering reaction force by the same steering reaction force control in the SBW mode state and in the EPS mode state after a steering motor is stopped when the false connection of a coupling device is detected, reduces the strange feeling of a driver before and after the control is changed, and accomplishes the disconnection and connection of the coupling device by a single control.SOLUTION: A vehicular steering device can change a state of a reaction force device at the steering-member side and that of a steering device at the turning-wheel side between a disconnected state and a connected state by a mechanical coupling device, operates in an SBW mode control in the disconnected state, and operates in an EPS mode control in the connected state. The reaction force device and a reaction force control unit are established by a torsion angle control system that performs a following control so as to obtain aiming steering torque in accordance with the steering angle of the steering member. When a false connection is detected in the disconnected state, the SBW mode control is stopped, and a torsion angle control by the torsion angle control system is maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】SBWモード制御とEPSモード制御を切り換える機能を有し、連結装置の誤接続を検出したときに、SBWモード状態と転舵モータ停止後のEPSモード状態において同じ操舵反力制御で適度な操舵反力を継続でき、制御切換前後の運転者の違和感を低減すると共に、連結装置の切断と接続を1つの制御で実現する車両用操舵装置を提供する。【解決手段】操舵部材側の反力装置と操向車輪側の転舵装置とを機械的な連結装置により切断状態及び接続状態に切換可能であると共に、切断状態においてSBWモード制御で動作し、接続状態においてEPSモード制御で動作する車両用操舵装置において、反力装置及び反力装置制御部を、操舵部材の操舵角に応じた目標操舵トルクになるように追従制御する捩れ角制御系で構成し、切断状態において誤接続が検出された時に、SBWモード制御を停止すると共に、捩れ角制御系による捩れ角制御を継続する。【選択図】図5
