To provide a vehicle collision avoidance support device which can perform proper collision avoidance processing according to a situation surrounding an own vehicle.SOLUTION: When there is a possibility that an own vehicle 100 collides with a substance 200 in front of the own vehicle, a vehicle collision avoidance support device 10 performs either of forcible braking and forcible steering. The vehicle collision avoidance support device acquires at least either of information related to a situation of the own vehicle and information related to a situation at a periphery of the own vehicle, determines whether or not a requirement condition requiring the execution of the forcible steering is established, and whether or not a prohibition condition for prohibiting the execution of the forcible steering is established on the basis of the acquired information. When the requirement condition is not established, the vehicle collision avoidance support device performs the forcible steering irrespective of the establishment of the prohibition condition, when the requirement condition is established at the establishment of the prohibition condition, performs the forcible steering, and when the prohibition condition is established, performs forcible braking even if the requirement condition is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16

    【課題】自車両を取り巻く状況に応じて適切な衝突回避処理を実施することができる車両衝突回避支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両衝突回避支援装置10は、自車両100がその前方の物体200に衝突する可能性がある場合、強制制動と強制操舵との何れか一方を実施する。車両衝突回避支援装置は、自車両の状況に係る情報及び自車両周辺の状況に係る情報の少なくとも一方を取得し、取得した情報に基づいて強制操舵の実施を要求する要求条件が成立したか否か及び強制操舵の実施を禁止する禁止条件が成立したか否かを判定し、要求条件が成立していない場合、禁止条件が成立しているか否かとはかかわりなく、強制制動を実施し、禁止条件が成立していないときに要求条件が成立した場合、強制操舵を実施し、禁止条件が成立している場合、要求条件が成立しても、強制制動を実施する。【選択図】 図16
