To provide an automotive body joining position optimization analysis device, method and program for determining an optimal position of a joining line so as to minimize the length of the joining line and reducing the weight of a component that does not contributes improvement of stiffness, while improving fatigue life and stiffness under a variable load condition.SOLUTION: A method includes: setting an automotive body model as a model to be analyzed; setting candidate joint lines in the model to be analyzed and generates a joint line optimization analysis model; setting variable load conditions and a target fatigue life; performing component rigidity sensitivity analysis; selecting a low rigidity sensitivity component model with low sensitivity to rigidity performance; generating a joint line/component shape optimization analysis model; setting, as optimization analysis conditions, a condition related to a cumulative degree of damage on a candidate joint line to be retained, a condition related to the rigidity in the joint line/component shape optimization analysis model, a condition related to the length of the candidate joint line to be retained by the optimization analysis, and a condition related to the volume percentage of the low rigidity sensitivity component; and providing the variable load conditions to the joint line/component shape optimization analysis model and performing an optimization analysis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
