To provide a vessel for going downstream with good rudder performance, eliminating idle steering, having braking force, and capable of being rowed regardless of variation in water flowing amount of the river or number of passengers in a river with scattered existence of torrents, shallows, and rocks.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: A vessel for going downstream is composed having a rudder immersed underwater and a steering stick extending in the horizontal direction for operating the rudder on the hull that are coupled on a first axis extending in the vertical direction on a rear end part outer surface of the hull. The first axis comprises at least one steering mechanism attached to the rear end part outer surface so as to be freely revolved horizontally with the axis center of the first axis as the center as well as to be freely revolved vertically with the axis center of a second axis in the horizontal direction as the center.
【課題】激流や浅瀬や岩場が点在する川において、川の流水量や乗船者の人数の変動に関係なく、舵性能が良く、空舵をなくし、制動力があり、漕ぐことが可能な川下り用船を提供することを課題とする。【課題を解決するための手段】水中に浸漬される舵板と、前記舵板を船体上で操作する水平方向に伸びる操舵棒とが、前記船体の後端部外面において上下方向に伸びる第1軸でもって連結され、前記第1軸は、該第1軸の軸心を中心として左右回動自在に、かつ、水平方向の第2軸の軸心を中心として上下回動自在に、前記後端部外面に少なくとも1台取り付けられた舵機構を備えた川下り用船の構成である。
