In such a configuration, in a case where the travel-planned route is changed to a congestion-avoiding route from a via-congestion route that includes the congested section during the congestion-specific charging control is executed, the execution of the control is continued until the vehicle itself passes a junction between the via-congestion route and congestion-avoiding route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】渋滞区間で蓄電装置の強制充電が生じるのを抑制する。【解決手段】走行予定ルートのルート案内を行なうと共に、渋滞情報に基づいて走行予定ルートに渋滞区間が含まれると判定したときには、自車が前記渋滞区間の開始地点よりも手前の地点を通過してから所定地点を通過するまで、走行予定ルートに渋滞区間が含まれないと判定したときに比して蓄電装置の蓄電割合が高くなるようにエンジンおよびモータを制御する渋滞用充電制御を実行する。こうした制御を行なうものにおいて、渋滞用充電制御の実行中に、走行予定ルートを渋滞区間が含まれる渋滞経由ルートから渋滞区間を回避する渋滞回避ルートに変更したときには、自車が渋滞経由ルートと渋滞回避ルートとの分岐点を通過するまで渋滞用充電制御の実行を継続する。【選択図】図3
