The invention relates to a pedestrian crossing signal optimization method based on the crossing characteristics of old people, and the method comprises the steps: dividing a pedestrian crossing signal at an intersection into three stages: a normally-on walking stage, a slow-flash acceleration stage and a quick-flash standing stage, and building a pedestrian constant-speed passing model and a pedestrian quick-speed passing model; calculating a critical value TB of normally-on and slow flash and a critical value TC of slow flash and quick flash; tB = C/KV, C is the pedestrian crossing distance, K is the senile care correction coefficient, and V is the crowd crossing speed; and the TC respectively establishes a model TC1 and a model TC2 from two perspectives of the maximum pedestrian step speed and the minimum waiting delay, and takes a reasonable value of the two models as the final tail clearing duration. The method has the advantages that the pedestrian crossing danger rate is effectively reduced, the safety of old people is improved, the application range of the optimization system is widened, and the optimization effect is improved.

    本发明涉及一种基于老年人过街特性的人行横道信号优化方法,包括将交叉口行人过街信号划分为常亮行走阶段、慢闪加速阶段和快闪站立阶段三个阶段,建立行人常速通过模型和行人快速通过模型,计算出常亮与慢闪的临界值TB和慢闪与快闪的临界值TC;TB=C/KV,其中,C为人行横道距离、K为老年关怀修正系数、V为人群过街速度;TC从行人最大步速与等待延误最小两个角度分别建立模型TC1和TC2,并取二者的合理值作为最终清尾时长。本发明的优点是有效降低行人过街危险率,提高老年人的安全性,增加优化系统的适用范围,提升优化效果。
