To provide a magnetic adhesive force monitoring system, a magnetic wheeled robot, and an associated method.SOLUTION: A magnetic adhesive force monitoring system (130), a magnetic wheeled robot (100), and an associated method are disclosed. The system includes a magnetic field sensor (150) for measuring a stray magnetic field portion (144) of a total magnetic field (140) emitted by a magnetic wheel (110) magnetically adhering to a ferromagnetic structure (102). The stray field portion (144) includes a part of the total magnetic field (140) redirected by the ferromagnetic structure (102). A controller determines a change in the magnetic adhesion force of the magnetic wheel (110) relative to the ferromagnetic structure (102) based on a change in the measured stray field portion (144) of the total magnetic field (140).
